The Middle East petroleum countries are already using the crypto-currency called XRP for payments. The people there can pay their utility bills with it, and soon, if not already, other countries will be able to buy their oil using XRP as the payment currency. The BRICS nations are bypassing the U.S. dollar and SWIFT by means of using XRP. The reason the BRICS nations do not want to use the U.S. dollar and SWIFT, is because the U.S. punishes countries by cutting them out of SWIFT. Other countries do not want their own sovereign nation policies dictated by the U.S.
