“‘Twas the week before Christmas,
And all through the House,
The Democrats scurried, Led by a louse.
The articles were crafted
By the Democrats with hate
In the hopes that Americans
Would swallow their bait.
And the Speaker in her pompousness,
And her minions with their gloat,
Impeached the 45th President
In a totally partisan vote.
And all thru the country
There arose such a clamor
That some Democrats faltered,
Reduced to a stammer.
Away to the pollsters, They flew in a dash
As hope for reelection
Burned up in a flash.
Now Nancy, now Adam, Now Jerrold, and Maxine!
Now Cohen, and Hank Johnson,
And the rest of the Dems’ team!
The luster of impeachment Has lost its shiny glow,
And you have charged a President
With indictments so low
That America will see Through your vitriol and hate
And reward your stupidity On the next election date.
But we heard Trump exclaim As you exited DC,
“Thanks for helping me drain the swamp,
That’s why you elected me!”
