Who’s The Boss?
Far too often we endeavor to run and control our own lives, and sometimes even the lives of others. Believing that we are the “boss of our life,” we foolishly strive to do our own thing. We blindly employ self-motivated egocentric criteria to determine what is right and wrong, believing that we know best.
But the truth of the matter is that God didn’t save us to make us the boss of anything. The truth be known God is the “Boss of our life,” and all lives.
Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
Psalm 37:24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
