The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) on March 12, 2020, has further extended the date for submission of proposals or Expression of Interest (EoI) by interested investors or promoters for setting up of Agro Processing Clusters under the Scheme for Creation of Infrastructure for Agro Processing Clusters under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY) till April 30, 2020.
MoFPI has reviewed the status of implementation of the scheme. Based on the request received from various investors or entrepreneurs and availability of funds, the closing or last date and time for submission of EoI or proposal has now been extended upto April 30, 2020.
Interested promoters or investors may submit their online proposal or EoI (http://sampada-mofpi.gov.in/AgroCluster/Login.aspx) on or before 11.30 PM on April 30, 2020 as per the modified scheme guidelines dated March 02, 2020.
Further, the applicants are required to make payment of Rs. 1,00,000/- through Demand Draft (DD) towards Earnest Money Deposit (EMD / Bid Security) in favour of “The Pat and Accounts Officer, Ministry of Food Processing Industries” payable at New Delhi. The original DD should be submitted to the Ministry within 7 days of submission of proposal failing which the proposal will not be considered. After selection of the suitable applicants, the amount of EMD will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders.
