Daily blessings and prayers from Scripture.

Psalm 91:1-2 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in Him will I trust.

1 Peter 1:24-25 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Galatians 6:14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

1 Peter 3:13 Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?

Romans 8:35-37 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? ... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Job 4:10 The lions may roar and growl, yet the teeth of the great lions are broken.

May you not turn from God's provision when you receive God's promise, for the power of man's arm or the wisdom of man's mind cannot safeguard God's blessing. 2 Kings 12

May you seek God for His answer to the problem of the heart, not just a cure to the symptom, that you may be set at liberty to continually follow His will and persistently obey His commands in the fear of the Lord. 2 Kings 13

May you learn self-denial in obedience to the discipline of the Lord that you may live and prosper, even as your soul prospers. 2 Kings 13, 3 John 1

May you discern the heart behind the words, as God gives you grace to know His truth and His ways. 2 Kings 13

My child, will you choose to know Me by the Spirit in My truth and My fullness? To see Me is to be renewed in your mind and refreshed in your spirit. To walk with Me is to turn your world upside down and to upend all your values. To draw near to Me is to have old things made new, broken things made functional, worn things made fresh, useless things become useful, that which held no beauty is filled with beauty. It means that those things which once were gain in your life become loss, the things you treasured turn into rubbish to be cleared away, that which you thought solid enough to build on turns out to be shifting sand.
To know Me in the power of My resurrection requires that you walk in My sufferings and death to self. To put on the mind of Christ is to empty yourself of all rights and privileges, making no demands or claims, striving for nothing but to speak as you hear the Father speak and to do as you see the Father do, being obedient through the rejection and slander, despising the shame and being conformed to My death. For what hold has sin over one who has suffered the death of his carnal mind, and what power has evil over one who has crucified his fleshly nature that once was his sole and only concern in life?
My grace is poured into your life, My willing one, as the budding of a new life in the service of your King and will flower into the glory of one doing the mature work of My kingdom. When I ask, “Who will go?” your heart will hear and be free to leap at the words. When I say, “Follow Me,” you will step forth, under no compulsion but willingly and joyfully, into all that My Father has prepared for you to do.

Though you are wise to be cautious, may fear never choke off charity, as you obey God's command to extend His love to all He brings to you. Acts 9

May you know that your acts and your works will speak of you and for you when you are unable to, so let God's love be your motivation and His grace give you skill as His mercy guides your steps in all that you do. Acts 9

May you desire nothing more than to make your heart a dwelling place for the Lord, the Mighty One of Jacob, allowing no sleep to your spirit and giving no rest to your soul as you press in with worship and thanksgiving, being clothed with righteousness and singing for joy in His presence. Psalm 132

May you rejoice in the name and presence of God the Father, seeking His face, learning His ways, and obeying His commands, so that you may be a source of joy and honor to Him. Proverbs 17:6
