Okay, this one sounds subsequent to a scam. Even the publish screams 2012 clickbait. But trust meReelSnatch plus is lowkey amazing.
I found it in some rarefied Reddit thread (buried following 7 interpretation deep below an ad for crypto). Its not on the App Store, but their site walks you through a workaround. Sketchy? A little. But it works.
Pros:

No watermarks.

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be surprised how rare that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, subsequent to it acts once it saved but nada.

Interface looks when Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still... its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt Instagram just allow us pull off this? I mean, TikTok lets you keep when audio (sorta), but IG acts afterward Reels are nuclear launch codes. Wild.

This ones as soon as the ninja of Reels downloaders. You install it, and it just chills in see your instagram stalkers toolbar. Quiet. Unassuming. You go to a Reel, click the ghost icon, and boomdownloaded. No popups. No redirects. Nada.
Ive been using it at perform (shh dont tell my manager) and its perfect for sneaky lunch-break scrolls.
What I like:

Works upon private profiles if you're logged in (which is rare).

What I dont:

Side Rant: Watermarks

Its not. I tested it for two weeks. Didnt miss a single Reel. Even the ones I forgot I watched.

Real Talk: Should You Even Be show This?
Ugh. Im torn. on one hand, I get it. We desire to save that reel. bill it to friends. Watch offline. most likely meme it later.
But creators deserve credit. fittingly here's my rule: I single-handedly download Reels if Im using them personally. Never reposting. Never monetizing. Just hoarding, tbh.
