I played 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 f5 for a while but it's getting stale. And seeing as 3.Bc4 is seen more than anything else, I'd like something fun to play against it. When I first started playing chess, 1e5 was the only way I know how to respond to 1. e4. After a couple months I stopped play e5 entirely. I felt like it gave white alot of initiative and I hate going into the very symmetrically Italian Game. Nf6 first? Of course the opening is rarely met at high level. Last instance I am aware of (between an IM and a GM) was not very pleasant for white: Rocha, Sergio (2392) .. A free resource is Chessexplained's video series on YouTube giving repertoire recommendations for Black after 1.e4 e5. Well I tied for top U2100 last year at the World Open and tied first U2000 Philadelphia Open year before that, but I was White in both last round games, so maybe that does not mean I
