Laila tov.. Baruch Hashem Chaverim... Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the Elohim your Yahweh who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you,” D'Varim ~ Deuteronomy 31:6-8 Amplified Bible.
Then Moshe called to Yehoshua and said to him in the sight of all [the people of] Israel, “ (Chazak v' Amats) which means be strong and courageous, for you will go with this people into the land which the Elohim' has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you will give it to them as an inheritance. It is the Elohim who goes before you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” D'Varim ~ Deuteronomy 31:6-8 Amplified Bible... (emphasis mine).
Al Tirah, No fear.... Fear can do one of two things, it can cripple you, stymie you, and cause you to withdraw, or it can motivate you to overcome and conqueror your fears.. to simply let go and trust What Elohim is saying, Trust Him!!! As we read this passage , we know that Moshe time on this earth was short, Moshe delivered his last message to HaShem' people as their leader. It was a message filled with sound wisdom. He reminded them that they would experience trials and uncertainties after entering the Promised Land. But he assured them that, no matter what they faced, Yahweh was with them. Moshe promised that He “will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Moreover, Yahweh goes further on to say and drive this point home to Yehoshua, their new leader, reassuring him that He would be with him. That there was no reason to be afraid or discouraged. Once again we read: Be strong and confident and courageous, for you will give this people as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers (ancestors) to give them, Yehoshua ~ Joshua 1:6, Once again Elohim reiterates His point: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Elohim' your Yahweh is with you wherever you go,” Yehoshua ~ Joshua 1:9 Amplified Bible. Like Yehoshua, and you can fill your name in right here.....
No matter what they might face, or what you may face in the days to come, Hashem said that they should not be afraid or terrified but rather “strong and courageous.” They needed to believe in Him, and go forward with faith and determination... Now, knowing that Yehoshua soon would become Israel’s leader, Moshe summoned him and gave the same charge to him personally. If One can feel and read between the lines you can see the intensity as Moshe addressed his successor: “Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land.”
This message did not just apply to Yehoshua, it also applies to all believers. It applies to you! He has given you things to do, and the power to do them. He has given you His promises. He already has gone ahead of you into every situation. And He has promised to be with you and provide what you need. So, as you move forward in your walk and into your future, don’t be discouraged, worried, or intimidated by opposition or by any problem you face. Trust in El Elyon, The Elohim Most High. Go forward with confidence, determined to do His will. And do not be afraid! Chazak V Amats… Chaverim..
