I honestly believe that if a citizen is victim of a crime in a city that supports defunding the police. That citizen has the right to sue the mayor and the city council. I am not talking about suing the city, but the persons themselves. To defund the police is a violation of all citizens right to protection from criminals. Playing it off as politics is scape goating.
Politicians in these cities and states need to be held accountable in the courts. If they won't be removed from office then they should forfeit their money to pay for what they have created...
