The result is that the players become tired of the lack of new content. With the current speed, Classic will eventually catch the retail market, or at a minimum, get expansions without the nostalgia that surrounds them.

Ultimately, World of Warcraft Classic is dependent on the support of its fans. And according to Zierhut the players will decide its future. "This whole project has been community-driven-this whole project came to being because the community demanded it," he explained, "So what does the community want to see next?"

"Do they want to go on to Cataclysm? Do they wish to travel to Pandaria? Are there features from other expansions that they wish to see brought back? Are there certain features that they prefer not to see in the game in any way buy WOTLK Gold? Our own personal opinions are ours but the opinions of the public will aid us in making better decisions."
