It is expected that the RuneScape games will be Steamforged's 12th version of a video-based game for tabletop Cheap OSRS Gold. Past adaptations have included the Monster Hunter: World board game, which earned PS3.4 million on Kickstarter in 2021.
The trade of virtual currencies for real-world money can be a problem for many online games. They can cause disruption to game economies, and causing imbalances in player experiences, or turning games into win-to-win opportunities. In RuneScape the trading of the virtual gold has been a particular problem and has led to bots mining the resource and even allegations that the possibility of buying bonds in game using real money amounts to gambling.
Today, Jagex has announced plans to combat the issue. In a new blog post, credited to "The RuneScape Team", the publisher states that "gold purchased through RWT is a concern for any online game that has the possibility of trading currency" as well as that even though its "Anti-Cheating Team has done a lot to stop RWT sellers in but also out", it will be adopting stronger measures as of immediate start.
The company cites a "growing team and better tools", Jagex says it will not be merely in the business of acquiring gold and sources through RWT but as well buyers. The goal is to reduce the demand as well as the supply.
Jagex promises to begin sending "messages to those we've identified that are engaged in the RWT" within "the coming hours". "For anyone involved, we'd like to emphasize that this is your first or only warning" said the statement.
Other measures the developer will look at as punishment for RWT activities include wealth removal , which is basically taking away gains made by players' accounts at an server level and possible bans.
RuneScape's PvP feature, known as"the Duel Arena, will also be subject to more strict rules. Jagex states that the feature "has been a trigger for this destructive behavior", and that 38 per cent of the bans issued for RWT actions up to now result from that part that the player plays buy rs07 gold. It claims that this equates in "thousands of bans every month".
