Talks continue about the future of Frenchman Othman Dembele, the striker of the first football team in Barcelona, and the possibility of renewing his contract or leaving Barca, during the coming period, according to the latest press developments received today, Friday.
Barcelona signed Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2017, and the player's contract with Barca expires in June 2022.
The current period is witnessing intense negotiations by the Barcelona administration with Dembele, in order to renew his contract and continue with Barca as long as possible.
And the Spanish newspaper, “Sport”, confirmed today, that the Newcastle United management made a fictional offer, to obtain the services of Dembele from Barcelona after the expiration of his contract.
The newspaper stressed that Newcastle made a fictional offer to Dembele, with an annual salary of 20 million pounds, along with a similar amount as a free signing bonus, and 12 million pounds for his agent.
