After the previous Gym type, Elite Four types, and Team Star types leaked, known Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaker Kaka revealed the order in which players will face these types of Team Stars. It's important to note that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are open-world games with three distinct storylines, although some details like how the gym is balanced remain to be seen. However, players are said to be able to go straight to the Elite Four and Champions, but they won't be able to fight them because there's a "test" that requires 8 gym badges. According to Kaka (and retold by PearlEnthusiast), the order of star team leaders is Fire, Dark, Poison, Goblin and Fight or Fire, Dark, Poison, Fight and Goblin. The first three are the same, and players have already met Meera, the Star Troopers fire brigade owner. Not sure why the last two were swapped, though. Either Kaka may not be remembered accurately, or maybe one team star order is exclusive to Pokemon Crimson and the other is exclusive to Pokemon Violet.

Interestingly, the rumored Poison/Steel Engine Pokemon powers Team Star's large iconic car, which seems to be a common symbol of Team Star. However, it seems that players will face it as the third team boss. By then, though, players may have enough Pokemon to fight it effectively, again depending on when the team star bosses fight and how Pokemon Crimson and Violet's three storylines develop.

While Game Freak has yet to confirm the Paradox Pokémon, the new variant was leaked online in June. Since then, several prominent leakers have reiterated that the new Paradox form will appear in Gen 9 and will include both ancient and future versions of the popular Pokémon.

Ancient Form Pokémon will be exclusive to Pokémon Scarlet, while Pokémon Violet will have Future Form. This variant has been compared to Ultra Beasts from Gen 7 Pokémon Sun and Moon, as each Paradox Pokémon will be considered a new entry in the Paldea Pokédex.

With the release dates of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet set for November 18, Nintendo may start showing off the rest of the new generation of Pokémon. While every Pokémon game has exclusive monsters, Game Freak has gone to great lengths to create more differences between the two versions of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet than the series has ever seen.
