An important aspect of any computer game's main menu looks to be absent from the one in Overwatch 2. Overwatch 2 came out a couple of days to a generally favorable critical gathering, although the aggregate is significantly lower than the survey scores of the original Overwatch. Since its release, fans have been facing several issues with Overwatch 2, ranging from technical problems to troubles with some of its design decisions.

One Overwatch 2 player brought up an issue with the game's UI, as its menu options appear to be lopsided. The image in this post shows an irregularity between the white and light blue tiles of the game's menu. After seeing this detail, many players referenced that they cannot unsee it, and some expressed shock at it passing QA testing. It looks like lopsided tiles are not by any means the only issue with Overwatch 2's menus.

A Reddit user named bilawalm points out that Overwatch 2 does not have an "Options" menu as a part of its main menu. As seen in the image, the menus named Play, Heroes, Shop, and Battle Pass are featured in huge strong letters. Players can find three different options under them named Social, Career Profile, and Challenges. In any case, a legitimate options menu is no place to be seen as a part of the main list. An options menu allows users to change various aspects of a game including the graphics settings, controls, and audio levels, in addition to elements like visually challenged mode.

Of course, Overwatch 2 has not been released without a legitimate settings menu, and players can simply press the escape key to access it. In that case, this post is perhaps aimed at censuring the overall layout of the main menu of Overwatch 2. Many users notice that the menu focuses too much on the monetization aspect of Overwatch 2, with a couple of them claiming to have never tapped on one or the other shop or battle pass. Fans also believe that the text style for the battle pass menu is way too enormous.

Several different users took this chance to share their own issues with Overwatch 2's UI and menus. Many highlight some unreasonable elements, such as the escape key not leaving the endorsement screen since pressing it opens the actual options menu. In general, players seem disappointed with the way Blizzard adapted Overwatch 2 and list it as the underlying driver for the various issues with the game on launch.
