Spider Solitaire 2 Suit uses two decks (104 cards). As the name of the game implies, cards are only from two suits: hearts and spades. Each card occurs four times, making up the 104. You have 10 tableau piles. 54 cards are dealt to these piles (6 cards are dealt to the first four piles and 5 cards to the remainder). The top card of each pile is face up. Pick out all the hearts and spades from both decks, and combine them into a deck of itself. Playing Spider Solitaire with two suits makes the game a lot more challenging that playing with one suit since you can only move sequences of cards if the whole sequence are of the same suit. Which means that a card can be moved onto another card of a different suit than the card being moved to. But, the sequence of cards the two cards add up two can't be moved since they have different suits.

To build 8 sequences down by color within the tableau (each running from King to Ace) and then move them to the 8 foundations.

The rules

Tableau piles' apex cards are available for play. No matter the suit, you can build tableau piles all the way down to the Ace. An Ace cannot be used to build a King. You can move cards from one pile to another one at a time. A group of cards with the same color in order downwards can be moved together. You can place any card in an empty tableau to fill the space. Click on the stock pile to deal one card to each tableau pile after you've used all of your initial moves. Before the deal, all gaps (empty spaces) in the tableau must be filled.

Tips and Tricks

• All tableau cards that are not covered by another card are in free play.
• Nothing can be based on a royal flush. Try to free the tableau by moving the ace.
• When possible, try to reveal as many cards from the tableau.
• Overwhelming numbers of unplayable cards may result from dealing too quickly from the stockpile.
• The king can hold 12 in a row or 13 all together. Try to move the king to a tableau column that is empty.
