The game "Hollow Knight" has different endings. The conditions that players have achieved are different, and the hollow knight endings that are unlocked are also different. Today, I will introduce to you a list of trigger conditions for the full ending of "Hollow Knight", let's find out together.
Ending 1: Hollow Knight
Requirements: Void Heart not yet acquired
After defeating the Hollow Knight, the protagonist absorbed the infection into his body. Afterwards, the protagonist is sealed in the black egg, and the game ends.
Unlock the "Hollow Knight" achievement.
Ending 2: The Sealed Compatriots
Requirements: Obtain the Heart of the Void and defeat the Hollow Knight
Near the end of the battle, Bumblebee will rush into the battle, scratch the Hollow Knight's mask with a needle, and then subdue it, creating an opportunity for the protagonist.
If the player hits the Hollow Knight multiple times while it's restrained, or waits too long, it will break free and knock Bumblebee to the ground, knocking her unconscious. Then the fighting continued. This action led to the fact that Bumblebee was also sealed in on the basis of the first ending, and her mask would appear outside the black egg (similar to the masks of the previous Dreamers).
Unlock the "Sealed Brothers" achievement.
Ending 3: No more dreams
Requirements: Obtained Void Heart, defeated Radiance
When the Hornet subdues the Hollow Knight, if the player uses the awakened Dream Nail on it, he will be teleported inside the Hollow Knight to challenge the Radiation. At the end of this battle, the Hollow Knight returns to his shadow form and rips out Radiant's face, allowing the protagonist to destroy Radiant forever.
After the radiation was defeated, the infection was completely purified, and the black egg remained open. Bumblebee wakes up to find the protagonist's mask split in two in the pit in the center of the room, implying that the protagonist has either died or returned to the Void/Abyss.
Unlock the "No More Dreams" achievement.
Extra Ending: End of an Era
After any of the other endings, if the player has completed the mission of Mr. Mushroom (talk to him in various regions), a new cutscene of Mr. Mushroom flying away will be played after the main plot animation.
Unlocks the "End of an Era" achievement.
