Iowa State (2-18, 0-15 Big 12) hasn’t won a Big 12 game all season and it’s unlikely this will be the first one they get. The last time the two teams played Texas was on a streak of playing four out of five games against top-25 teams and the Longhorns still came away with a 78-72 win. Even with all the losses, the Cyclones don’t tend to get blown out recently, with only one of their last five losses coming by more than 10 points. ISU is led offensively by Rasir Bolton’s 15 points per game. The team as a whole scores just 66 points per game while allowing 77 on average for the season.

KenPom is giving the Longhorns an 85% chance to go on the road and come away with a win in this one.

Point Spread, Totals, Odds, Trends

Point spread: Texas -11.5
Point Total: 142.5
Money line: Texas -835, Iowa State +540

Texas isn’t dominating anybody, going 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 games
The over has hit in 11 of UT’s last 14 games
The Cyclones are 2-4 ATS in their last six games
The over has hit in all but three of ISU’s last 10 games.

The Best Bet

Texas has been far from reliable ATS. Iowa State hasn’t been spectacular but losing by less than 11 points against No. 16 Oklahoma and No. 3 Baylor makes the home team seem more appealing than the Longhorns.

Pick: Iowa State +11.5
