Blizzard has revealed a brand new "race event" to commemorate the very first 1000 players hitting d4 buy gold Level 100 cap.

"Think you are able to cheat death?" the developer teased. "Reach level 100 on hardcore mode and tweet #Diablo4Hardcore with proof to possess your username immortalized on the statue of Lilith.

"Offer limited to the very first 1000. Get started 1st June."

The challenge hasn't gone down well with all of the players, however. Some around the Diablo 4 subreddit have raised objections towards the "unfair advantage" individuals with early access to the game – for example, reviewers and content creators – may have given they have familiarised themselves with the sport's systems and combat.

Blizzard GM Rod Fergusson countered this by reminding the city that by Friday, everyone with early access had their characters and progress deleted, however, many states that it doesn't go far enough, and also have called for anyone who's played the sport early to become prohibited from taking part in the competition.

"Can we discuss those same creators competing within the 'race' event everyone announced? This gives a seriously unfair advantage," challenged one player (thanks, GamesRadar+).

"A player who already knows [s] everything about bosses, acts, and the way to gear and level may have an advantage over a player who never tried it. Exactly the same way somebody that trained for any marathon months ahead of time would win a race against somebody that just learned about it."

Blizzard hasn't formally responded to the complaints nor revised the eligibility requirements because of its Harcore race event.

Blizzard also recently revealed its plans for Diablo 4 post-launch, detailing its method of seasons, battle passes, and also the shop. The developer told Diablo 4 will get a brand new season each quarter, and everyone will add questlines, battle passes, new legendary items, and class balance changes along with other tweaks.

Season 1 begins in mid to late July (Diablo 4 launches early June) and also to access it, you need to complete the campaign. To work through the season's battle pass you have to complete chapters comprising objectives. Completing all of the objectives inside a chapter gets you seasonal rewards, for example, crafting materials and legendary aspects for the Codex of Power.
