Dodge is an Amazon Skill in Diablo 2. Dodge is a component of the Passive and Magic Skills Tree as well as level 6 to become unlocked. Skills usually define a character's playstyle and therefore are divided by Class and Skill Tree. Some Skills have synergies, which offer benefits to other skills on a single Skill Tree.

To anyone acquainted with their natural agility, it will come as no real surprise that the training regimen of the Amazon warrior includes exercises created specifically to avoid potentially devastating blows in combat.

Effect

Passive Effect: You have an opportunity to dodge a melee attack when attacking or standing still.

Cast Delay: None

When Dodging, the Amazon will lean in the opposite direction from the attacker.

Dodge works while attacking.

You probably don't wish to put lots of points into Dodge. The benefit of additional points drops off significantly.

Important Note: With the discharge of Patch 2.4 this skill has suffered some changes:

The animation is now able to be interrupted and can no longer lock the Amazon from performing other actions.
