The G.O.A.T. Boat had no Theater complex for mini games and had to rely heavily on limited park options. The Arena was non-existent as well NBA 2K24 MT, which led current-gen players to simply load into NBA games old fashion style. And worst of all, the G.O.A.T. Boat NPCs were as boring as could be (none of which were celebrities mind you), and when you received challenges that you could not complete (let’s say because your player can’t dunk), you could not swap out those challenges. If possible, this all has to change for the next current-generation neighborhood otherwise NBA 2K will risk losing more fans from those platforms all together.

If you’re going to charge $60+ for a current-generation video game experience, you might as well do the very best you can, particularly when you have a next-gen experience that makes it feel like some knockoff mode. And for NBA 2K24, that certainly felt that way, even with some of the differences from the season reward paths throughout the game that were exclusive for current-gen players.

3. More Offline Side Missions After Storyline
NBA 2K has some of the best MyCAREER story modes, but they don’t last very long, and usually taper out after the first season. Although the online modes tend to win over the fans more than the offline experience, there’s some that still very much relish the opportunity to maximize the offline NBA journey, and NBA 2K could do a better job adding in more smaller side missions your player can do for or with the team.

There’s a lot to the business and advertising side that players have to deal with in order to develop their own brand, and that is something NBA 2K24 could implement in their offline mode. Whether it’s free agency talks and negotiations to signing new deals and fulfilling contractual obligations with sponsors, there’s a lot NBA 2K24 could tap into on the NBA level that they could incorporate following the end of the main story. And in recent years Cheap 2K24 MT, most of these actions are simulated or minimized, which is something NBA 2K could expand upon.
