God is the greatest artist and the best of planners, and humans are one of His masterpieces. Then, why do we constantly seek flaws in ourselves? Let’s discuss.

One of the major things that make your time here on Earth worthwhile is God's works of art. He is the best of creators and the best of planners. He is the one who painted the sky blue and the one who determines the number of stars and calls them all by name.

But in this exhibition of masterpieces illustrated intricately by our Creator, we forget that we, too, are His masterpiece.

Let's give you a reminder.

He Is No Amateur Potter

We are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Ephesians 2:10

The scriptures are living evidence of God's influence in our lives. It is the absolute and the final. From the distinct patterns on our fingertips to the shades of blues and browns in our corneas, we are etched perfectly imperfect by the very same Deity who has made the nebulas and planets we are so transfixed by.

The above image shows the similarities between the human eye and some of the most fascinating pictures we've managed to capture from outer space.

Not to mention that we are made from the very elements found in stars.

If we look closely into the nature surrounding us, we'd realize how we're woven from the same fabric.

Except, God has a special place for us in His heart.

Why?

Made in His Image

Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

Genesis 1:26

God's glory is unparalleled, and for us to be made in His image is a truth that should make us realize our potential. Just as God created Heaven and Earth out of nothing, we, too, possess the power to create.

All we need to do to unlock our potential is acknowledge the beauty that lies within.

Here are some ways you can channel this realization:

Pick a Passion

Spend time with yourself and pay attention to things you are interested in doing and work toward improvement. Perhaps it's painting, singing, or dancing. You'll discover just how talented you actually are once you believe in yourself.

Surround Yourself With Positivity

You don't need people in your life that will bring you down. Prioritize having friends who will bring out the best in you and make you feel better about yourself. Good vibes all around.

Content Consumption

We don't realize the influence social media has on us. We'll be busy swiping away on Instagram, envying the people who merely show what they want people to see about themselves and their "perfect" lives.

However, this is a very flawed perception. Instead, focus on building a life you wish to live and nurture.

As Nadia "Cher" Major once said,

"God is the master contractor; let Him build you. His portfolio, sky, Earth, humans. So far, no one has been able to duplicate His handiwork."

Nadia has also penned a book that uplifts souls, letting people know they are enough and God's most prized masterpiece.
