Daily blessings and prayers from Scripture.

2 Corinthians 7:8-9 Paul wrote, “If I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it… because your sorrow led you to repentance.”

Matthew 5:23-24 If you remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24 leave your gift … before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother or sister, and then come and offer your gift.

Romans 4:7 Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, and whose sins have been covered.

2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Genesis 37:31-32 Then they got Joseph’s robe, slaughtered a goat and dipped the robe in the blood. 32 They took the ornamented robe back to their father and said, “We found this. Examine it to see whether it is your son’s robe.”

Genesis 4:4–5 The Lord had regard for Abel and his offering: 5 but for Cain and his offering He had no regard.

May you accept, not grudgingly but with grace, the details of your surroundings that you cannot change, do as unto the Lord, thoroughly, gratefully, and wholeheartedly, whatever there is for you to put your hands to, and never stop reminding the Lord of His promises to you, with thanksgiving and praise. Genesis 39

May you know that the Lord is with you in each of your situations and all of your circumstances to bless you with wisdom and prosper you with understanding that He might grow you into a future with hope. Genesis 39, Jeremiah 29

May you realize that when others see the blessings which God pours out upon you and your work, they will want to get, for their own pleasure, some of what they see in your life, and when they cannot take what they are after, you will find that lies are told, and believed, of you; however, God will turn to good that which was meant for evil, as you persist in faith in the Lord. Genesis 39

May you not be distracted by your circumstances to the point you are unable to notice the sadness in others, but let God minister to them through you, even if it is simply listening as they talk, or sharing truth as He gives it for them. Genesis 40

May you give the Lord the honor and praise, the thanks and remembrance that He deserves for the salvation and redemption He has accomplished for you, not forgetting Him as the chief butler did toward Joseph after Pharaoh restored him from prison back to his former position. Genesis 40

May you be confident that if God brings you to a need that no one has been able to resolve that though it is out of your ability to do, it is an opportunity to bring glory to Him as He accomplishes His will through you. Genesis 41

How do you recognize My presence with you, My child? By what strategy do you detect My Spirit?
Do you determine I am with you if men honor you and your choices are unconstrained? Do you trust in authority and power as indicators of My pleasure? Do you check your bank balance to see if My blessing rests upon you?
Consider Joseph, the son of Jacob, when he was in Egypt. He was despised by his family, threatened with death by his siblings, rejected for money, made a slave of strangers, and yet I was with him. I did not remove him from slavery, but I gave him favor in the eyes of a few.
Though he was falsely accused and fell from a slave to a prisoner, I was with him. Though he stayed in the prison, I brought kindness to him.
As he worked honestly and lived with integrity, I gave him favor with a few, and wisdom on occasion, until he was prepared, trained and self-disciplined enough to not allow bitterness to rule his actions but acknowledge My presence and power before authority.
Learn to acknowledge My presence, My dear one, and see My hand in your life bringing favor and kindness for you to minister to those near you.

May you do the will of the Father in heaven, even as Jesus demonstrated for us, that you may be held as part of the family of God. Matthew 12

May you rejoice that you are given to see and to hear what many righteous and holy men of old have earnestly longed for. Matthew 13

May your earnest cry rise up to God from a clean heart with lips of integrity seeking your vindication which comes from the Lord. Psalm 17

May you call upon the Lord to show the wonder of His great love as He saves you by His right hand and answers you by giving you refuge from the snare of your foes, keeping you as the apple of His eye and hiding you in the shadow of His wings from the wicked who assail you. Psalm 17

May you trust the Lord to save you by His hand from men who close up their callous hearts as they speak arrogance and have only this life for their reward, and rescue you by His sword from the wicked who track you like a lion crouching in cover, hungry for prey, alert to throw you to the ground, for the Lord calms the fears and stills the hunger of those He cherishes. Psalm 17

May you anticipate with joy the time when, in righteousness, you will see the Lord's face and be satisfied, when you awake, with seeing God's likeness. Psalm 17
