More about Sega's next generation of Phantasy Star Online was revealed at the Tokyo Game Show, and New Genesis is shaping up for a significant upgrade from the present game meseta pso2. There are still many details to be revealed as time goes , but some major things like battle and the planet are much clearer. Hiro Arai out of Sega has been live for nearly an hour to show off footage of gameplay and speak about what new items are on the way. Not much was mentioned about the present game as well as the upgrade coming alongside NG's launch apart from the graphical update, which will be looking great.
Maps are no more divided up into regions with loading screens. NG will have a completely open world in the home base to the area. The TGS footage showed a gorgeous new world that's a significant update from the current game. Blades of grass blow in the wind, lush forests lie on the opposite side of valleys and frosty mountains could be seen at the distance. Arai mentions that distinct regions can be attained seamlessly by simply traversing the world.
It looks like that is the planet Naberious from the present game, with forests being adjacent to tundra and other areas. Areas continue to be technically divided up, but there is no loading between them. While it hasn't been straight mentioned, an open world like this suggests there might not be single celebration places anymore. Most shown in the footage were multi-party regions where there were other players. The cap for multi-party places has been reduced to eight down from twelve in the present PSO2, but who you see will differ from area to area.
Weather is making a much better comeback as it changes dynamically and can affect the battlefield, although the size of the effect was not spoken of. Time will also change, and footage showed several nice touches such as fireflies in the forests at night. There's no word on quick travel, mounts or vehicles yet, but Sega has implemented several new ways for players to move fast across this new universe. Players will be able to run faster after a dodge both in and outside of combat cheap Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta. A blue series follows underfoot, so you will know you are doing it right when you see it.
