Daily blessings and prayers from Scripture.

John 13:14 Jesus said, “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.”

Ephesians 4:2-3 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Ephesians 4:22-24 …lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit 23 … 24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

John 8:11 And Jesus said, 'Neither do I condemn you; go your way. From now on sin no more.'

May you turn to the Lord when angry thoughts against someone come to mind, not dwelling on them or adding to them, but repudiating them, turning from them, and standing in the righteousness of Christ imputed by His sacrifice, bringing every rebellious thought captive and disciplined to the obedience of Christ. Deuteronomy 21, 2 Corinthians 10

May you bring before the Lord any principles and teachings you encounter in life that are interesting and attractive, not of sin or evil from which you have been separated by salvation, but of art and science, finance and politics, travel and sports, and take time to seek for understanding from His Spirit whether it aligns with His Word before embracing or espousing it. Deuteronomy 21

May you not ignore the small things that God shows you to do, for therein is His love manifested to your neighbor. Deuteronomy 22

May you draw ever nearer to God in your spiritual walk, that you might guard your soul against the selfish desires of the natural man's carnal appetites, in all of the myriad forms of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Deuteronomy 22

Hear, O child: the Lord your God is one God, in full agreement of purpose and action between the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Can you understand this?
The Lord your God is a jealous God, yet full of compassion, Whose mercies are new every morning – even as you enjoy the comfort of this truth, are you able to comprehend it?
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and I, the Word, spoke creation into existence. When walking the world in flesh, I was given the testimony that “Never man spake as this man,” yet I accomplished My task, fulfilling My goal and purpose as your sacrificial ransom, by remaining silent and answering My accusers never a word of defense. As you revel in the reality of your redemption, have you pondered on this?
The world points to these things and proclaims that they have found contradictions that prove your belief to be untrue, and, truly, the carnal mind cannot connect the paradoxes. But as you walk in the Spirit, He brings you into all truth.
By faith, you can walk in confidence where mental logic cannot take you. This is how Peter, looking to Me, stepped out of the boat and walked without visible means of support on the water. Only when you look away from Me will you begin to sink and flounder, but when you look again to Me, I am always there for you.
Therefore, rejoice in Me always, pray conversantly with Me without ceasing, and give thanks for My presence in all circumstances. This is not simply a good idea, it is how you will survive the challenging assignments that are to come.
You must show My holiness in an unholy world. You must give My love to an unloving world. You must speak My truth to a deaf and denying culture. You must demonstrate My power before a blind and uncaring people. Some will believe, though many will not, but you will have delivered yourself of your responsibility and entered into My joyful fellowship.

May you walk in the compassion, grace, and mercy of Christ when faced with rejection, rather than zealously “defending” God by seeking retribution on others, as sons of thunder would. Luke 9

May you have ears to hear the voice of the Spirit that you may walk in balance and obedience, not taking upon yourself more than the Lord calls you to at any given time, and promptly following His directions in humility, without delay or digression. Luke 9

May you ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest field, for the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Luke 10

May the Lord remember His promises to you as He takes His revenge for the attacks of His enemy upon you, for God, the King, brings His salvation upon the earth. Psalm 74

May the Lord have regard for His covenant toward you, because haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land. Psalm 74

May the poor and needy praise the name of the Lord, and may the oppressed not retreat in disgrace, for when God rises up and defends their cause, He will not ignore the clamor of your adversaries or the uproar of your enemies. Psalm 74
