THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A PERSON

 Erroneous doctrine has often taught that the Holy Spirit is a power, and not a Person

 The Holy Spirit is indeed the power of YAHWEH ELOHIM (GOD), but He is not an abstract force

 He is a Person

 But by “person,” we don’t mean a “human being.” It means He has “personality.” The Heavenly Father also is a Person, but He's not a man

 The Master Yahshua Messiah/Christ, of course, took humanity upon Himself when He came to earth as a babe, but He is an eternal divine Person

 The Spirit's personality is referred to in the Master’s teaching: “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance everything I have said to you.” (John 14:26) The Redeemer Master ~ Lord does not refer to the Holy Spirit as “it,” but as “He.” Moreover, only a person could be a helper and teacher

 Other verses in Scripture also show the personality of the Holy Spirit

 He intercedes (Romans 8:26), He speaks (Rev 2:7), and loves, for He can be grieved (Eph 4:30)
