THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ELOHIM (GOD)

THE BEGINNING OF THE WAY (PT 13)

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ELOHIM (GOD)

The Holy Spirit is usually referred to as the Third Person of the Eternal Trinity - the Three-in-One

This does not mean that He is inferior, or junior to the Father, or to the Son

He is equally ELOHIM, and He is called by a number of titles, including, the Spirit of Elohim the Spirit of Messiah/Christ, and the Spirit of YAHWEH

An absolutely false teaching that's been going around, says that the Holy Spirit is the God-Mother, who should be referred to as “she.” This is utter nonsense and unscriptural

In trying to understand the Eternity Deity, we should avoid the danger of trying to fit ELOHIM into our human concept

Man’s concept of Elohim always falls very short

Imaginations are not realities

We must accept what the Almighty Elohim has declared about Himself in the Bible

And remember, Elohim is so great and so vast, that we may need all of eternity to get to know Him fully

The Bible says that the Father is Elohim, Yahshua Messiah/Christ is Elohim and the Holy Spirit is Elohim

We must accept then, that Elohim is known or manifest as three persons, and that those Three Persons are the one Eternal Elohim (God)

Along the way you will sooner or later come across various misconceptions, such as - “Only the Father is Elohim”, or “Father and Son are Elohim, but not the Holy Spirit.” Then there is an extreme view which says that there are three Elohim's (Gods)

Another extreme is known as the “Yahshua Messiah/Christ only teaching.” This says that there is one Elohim - not three persons; there is only Yahshua Messiah/Christ

It says that the “Father” is actually Yahshua Messiah, and the “Holy Spirit” is Yahshua (Jesus), therefore, there is only one Person - Yahshua

This teaching tries to simplify the Eternal Deity, but it falls short of the revelation, and is very confusing

These extremes arise out of attempts to “explain” Elohim

But you can’t do that satisfactorily with limited human reasoning

You might find some Bible verses to help support ideas, but they will always clash with other Scriptures when used wrongly

We must accept what is revealed in the Bible - that Father, Son and Holy Spirit are Three Personalities, but together, are One eternal Elohim

Thus, while we see the Son talking to the Father, we can accept statements of Yahshua, such as: “He who has seen Me has seen the Father.” (John 14:9) The “Three-in-One” are so closely involved and linked, that we cannot separate Them except in words

Often the question comes up: Should we worship the Holy Spirit? Some quote John 16:14, which says the Holy Spirit will glorify Yahshua, and not Himself, suggesting that Yahshua should be given central place in worship. Others believe we should pray to and worship only Elohim the Father

(John 4:23) It is true that we are told to come to the Father through the Son, and that we are to pray “in the Spirit,” and in the Name of the Son John 14:6 Eph 6:18, John 15:16

But the Scriptures say: "Moreover, when He brings 'the firstborn' (the Origin, Model, Head and Heir) into the world, He says, 'Let all the angels of Elohim worship Him'.” (Hebrew 1:6) The wise men worshiped the baby Yahshua Matt 2:11

And the redeemed in Heaven also worship the Master~ Lord Yahshua: “And they sang a new song: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals, for You were slain, and by Your blood You have redeemed us to Elohim out of every tribe, language, people and nation’.” (Revelation 5:9) A problem is created if we think of the Father, the Son and the Spirit as “three Gods.” That is NOT the Bible teaching

The Bible and congregation (church) doctrine is that the Father, the Son and the Spirit are co-equal, and are co-eternally Elohim

The three are manifestations of the ONE eternal Divinity

Each has various functions, but in substance they are the one eternal Divinity

We must certainly acknowledge that both the Son and the Holy Spirit are our Elohim, even as the Father is

And so, in view of the great commandment which Yahshua Messiah quoted to the devil, “You shall worship YAHWEH and serve Him only” (Luke 4:8 Deut 6:13), we can say that we do not worship one, two or three personalities, but ELOHIM in His entirety

Always remember, the Holy Spirit is our ever-present Comforter

He is the wonderful, gracious, loving Person of YAHWEH living inside us

 (Romans 8:11; 1 Cor 6:19; 2 Cor 1:22, 5:5; 1 John 3:24)

Now let us consider some important aspects of

THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT . . .NEXT

I have been around the track many times over many decades, seeking truth in the body of literature and culture surrounding the Christian narrative, just some piercing insight or obvious gem of understanding. Sad to say, what I have learned has not come from readging Christian literature but through the back door experiences of living, and using my own reasoning powers as proof that the Bible is a docment of enduring wisdom and truth, but also growing more hoplessly distant from the here-and-now of contemporary life.

I have read this entry, the Beginning of the Way (13) diligently, looking for some thread to understand what it is all about. Sadly, the article is nonsensical to me, with extensive references to deeply mysterious entities such as Elohim, Holy Spirit, God, Father, Yaweh, Yashua, and so on. The discussion seems to stress the importance of really understanding the mistique of these spiritual or supernatural entities, for to fail in this would mean spiritual error that could block one's progress to paradise, which of course implies a sorry fate for folks who fall short or just have an attituded of indifference or weary disinterest. Even the "13" that denotes a dozen similar predecessors seems to show the hoplessness of "the Way" under discussion.

Several generations have matured into childish adulthood as the public schools indoctrinate pupils in the evils of historical Christianity and the founding of the United States of America in Judeo-Christian beliefs and values. Meanwhile, Christianity is becoming more hopelessly irrelevant during a period wnen world (globalist) communism is literally digesting Western civilization, and voters are too stupid to realize they are electing snakes to congress and permitting lawfare insurrection to proceed to its final victory.

It appears to me that the founders came here in the vessel of Christianity, and the wooden hull has rotted out, leaving us without a common, consensual foundation fo national unity, allowing the cancer of diverssity to kill once again, as it did the Babylonian empire. The cleargy of Christianity have surrendered their positions of moral leadership to the new priesthood of psychology, which has given scientific names to things never before considered subject to scientific study and purposeful manipulation.

If we cannot name the Beast of Communism, so our seady gaze may cause it to flee, then we shall become eternally separated from God.
