Warm summer months

Aphelion, which occurs on July 5, 2024, marks the moment when Earth is farthest from the Sun in its elliptical orbit, when does aphelion occur. At this point, the Sun is over 94 million miles away from our planet, measured center to center. Interestingly, despite being farther, it coincides with the warm summer months in the Northern Hemisphere.
