Note on Terminology

Various terms describe the influence of technology on healthcare: "mobile," "digital," "wireless," and "electronic" health. WLSA prefers "connected health" to best describe the value created at the intersection of technology and healthcare, including mobile infrastructure, digital information, big data, cloud systems, and behavioral economics. Technology is the enabler; good health is the goal.
