May you know that the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. 1 Corinthians 4
My child, I am the Lord thy God who turns all things around. I am the Lord of reversals, changing that which no man wants to change, and keeping straight that which all men try to alter.
Give Me that which you have failed at, My weary one, and in My strength find success. Bring to Me that which has overcome you, My defeated one, and by resting in Me as you rely on My promises, find yourself to be an overcomer.
I resist the proud, My shaken one, bringing down their plans and re-routing their paths, but I lift up the humble, placing the down-trodden in the seat of honor.
I break the strength of the strong and cause the wisdom of the wise to fail; I make the full to hunger and My breath scatters the treasure of the rich beyond retrieval. Yet I meet the needs of the poor, and the seed of those to whom I ascribe righteousness will never beg for bread.
I am not arbitrary, My worrying one, as men understand it; I am spirit, I am everywhere, I know the hearts, and I see the blockages that hold each person back. My desire is not for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. So many are caught in dead-ends, in snares and traps that hold them without alarming them. Their circumstances must change before they can see the chains and captivity that hold them, and cause them to turn to Me.
My work in the lives and hearts of men is redemptive, My precious one, though it turns your world upside down; through loss, I bring you to gain what you never dreamed you could have, and through illness, I bring you to a healthy and vibrantly alive relationship with Me in divine love. Through grief, I open the door to greater joy than you realize could be possible.
Turn to Me, My dear one, in all things, trusting Me to do you good, for all things work together for your good when you live in My love, walk in My will, and align your heart with Mine.
May you exalt the Lord for He has lifted you out of the depths and did not let your enemies gloat over you. Psalm 30
May you call upon the Lord for help, for He will heal you and bring you up from the grave, sparing you from going down to the pit. Psalm 30
May you sing to the Lord with His saints and praise His holy name, for His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime; though weeping may remain for a night, rejoicing comes in the morning. Psalm 30
May you call to the Lord and cry for mercy, knowing He has no gain in your destruction, for the dead cannot praise Him nor proclaim His faithfulness; therefore the Lord will hear and be merciful to you since He is your help. Psalm 30
May you give thanks to the Lord your God forever with singing in your heart, never being silent, for He has turned your wailing into dancing, removed your sackcloth and clothed you with joy. Psalm 30
May you glory in the Lord for your strength when you are young and rejoice in the Lord when you are mature for the wisdom represented by your grey hair. Proverbs 20:29
