Proverbs 10:17 He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.

Hebrews 10:35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.

Hebrews 10:36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

Proverbs 8:34 Blessed is the man who listens to Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at the posts of My doors.

Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.

May you know that in your awful day of trouble, the Lord will save you, breaking off the yoke of those who have captured you and tearing off the bonds of those who have enslaved you, bringing you into the glorious liberty and freedom of your Redeemer so that you will serve the Lord your God with gladness and obey the King of Kings with joy. Jeremiah 30

May you not fear nor yet be dismayed as you serve the Lord, for He will surely save you, though you are among people who are far away, and your children, from where they are exiled, and you will again have peace and security, and no one will make you afraid. Jeremiah 30

May you accept and embrace the just and loving discipline of the Lord, Who will not completely destroy you, though those around you utterly perish, for the Lord is with you and will save you. Jeremiah 30

May you realize that although your circumstance has no solution, your cause has no advocate, your friends have forgotten you, and your guilt has brought these things upon you, the Lord your Redeemer, Whom you are trusting and to Whom you are praying, will restore you to health and heal your wounds, causing those who devour you to be devoured, those who plunder you to be plundered, all who make spoil of you He will despoil, and all your enemies will be exiled, because you, the one He cherishes, are called by them “outcast,” and you, for whom He has given everything, are called by them “uncared for.” Jeremiah 30

May you rejoice in the Lord and sing songs of thanksgiving, for He will renew His blessings upon you and refresh His compassion toward those you love, restoring relations in your life to their proper order, and He will add to your numbers, not decrease them, bringing honor to you rather than disdain, punishing all who oppress you, and giving you authority over all that pertains to you, as you obey the Lord in humility, quiet yourself before Him, and devote yourself to be close to Him, choosing to be His, and continually acknowledging Him as your God. Jeremiah 30

May you understand in days to come that the fierce anger of the Lord will burst out in stormy wrath, a driving wind swirling down on the heads of the wicked, and will not turn back until He fully accomplishes the purposes of His heart, which is to gather His people and be their God, cherished by them even as He cherishes them, for those who seek Him now will survive the storm and He will give them grace in the wilderness that they may rest in His strength. Jeremiah 30 Jeremiah 31

May you gladly receive His everlasting love and allow Him to draw you with loving kindness so that He may rebuild you with stability and endurance, graced with joyful dance and glad-sounding tambourines, enjoying the fruits of the harvest and the celebration of the Lord. Jeremiah 31

May you make your praises heard as you sing with joy, and ask the Lord to save His people, for He will bring them from the ends of the earth, including the weak, the burdened, the wounded, the helpless, weeping as they come, praying as they return, and He will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble, for He will be a Father to them, and they shall be His beloved children. Jeremiah 31

My child, see to it that your ways are pleasing to Me. Endeavor to walk in the Spirit so that you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Let My Word dwell in you richly and My peace rule in your heart, so that whatever you do, in word or in deed, it will be done in My Name, with thanksgiving to the Father.
Know that as you do this, My child, you will rouse up antagonism against your witness to My glory and your testimony to My holiness. As you declare My righteousness through your obedience to My Spirit, I will convict the hearts of those who are watching your life; some will desire the same relationship with Me that your walk demonstrates and gladly draw near, while others will resent the light of grace and salvation which removes their excuses for remaining in the darkness where they can hide their sins.
I am near to you as you walk in humility before Me and rejoice in My name, even as I vindicate you by My justice. Though you see enemies among men rise up against you, breathing out threatenings, be not afraid, neither change your focus from Me to them, but remain steadfast in your walk before Me. I am the Lord, and I will make all who resist Me to see the error of their ways.
Though David, even after Samuel anointed him, feared in his heart that he would perish by the hand of Saul, did I not keep David safe and fulfill the promise of My word to him?
Did I not constrain Laban from touching Jacob, even after pursuing him with all his men and hired hands? Was it not I who subdued the wrath of Esau and made him willing to greet Jacob in a brotherly manner rather than with a sword as he had threatened? Who else could have converted such a furious adversary into a fellow worker and brother as I did with Saul of Tarsus?
Walk in faith before Me, My love, with trust in My leading and confidence in My provision, and you will see your enemies made to be unto you the quiet, companionable comforts through the night that the lions were to Daniel.
It is in My Name, and by My Word, that when you meet the last enemy, death, you will find that your peace will be the greatest, for he who has been the source of so much fear to all mankind will have become My steward, My guide, fulfilling his assigned duty to gently escort you into My presence and joy everlasting.

May you proclaim the word of the Lord, wherever you are, saying that He will gather those who love Him, those who obey His Word and sorrow over sin in the land, and He will watch over them like a shepherd, for the Lord will ransom each of His own and redeem them from the hand of those stronger than they, causing them to come and shout for joy in the presence of the Lord as they are set free from the bonds of iniquity and rejoice in the bounty of the Lord, for they will be like a well-watered garden, knowing sorrow no more. Jeremiah 31

May you be blessed with comfort and joy from the Lord instead of sorrow as He turns your mourning into gladness, and He satisfies His servants with abundance and His people with His bounty. Jeremiah 31

May you restrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded according to the sure and trustworthy promise of the Lord, for as He causes you to return from captivity by the enemy, so He gives you hope for your future, declaring that your children will live in the freedom of the Lord's promises. Jeremiah 31

May you return to the love of God because the Lord has disciplined you, and restored you, when you repented over the shame and humiliation of the disgrace of your youth, and you came to understand that the Lord delights in you and speaks often to you with great compassion because His heart yearns for you. Jeremiah 31

May you make requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving for everyone – kings and all those in authority, that you may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness, for this is good and pleases God the Savior Who wants all men to be saved and to understand the truth that there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Who gave Himself as a ransom for all men. 1 Timothy 2

May you lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing. 1 Timothy 2

May you adorn yourself modestly, as each member of the bride of Christ should, with decency and propriety rather than outward ornamentation, and with good deeds, appropriate for all who profess to worship God, learning in quietness and submission, and continuing in faith, love, and holiness with propriety. 1 Timothy 2

May you recognize that the fountains of joy in your life are derived from the time you spend searching the Word of God and in prayer to the Lord, seeking the presence of Him Whose Spirit brings grace and consolation to your soul. Psalm 87
