Some of you may have been following the drama around HR1044 and S386; two very similar proposals passed by the house of representatives and senate respectively to eliminate the 7% country cap on permanent residency applications. On the surface, it sounds like a great idea, as the majority of imported tech workers come from India, many of whom have already started families with children who are US citizens but themselves have yet to receive their permanent residency status.
The issue though is that these tech workers imported from India are already being paid significantly less than US citizens, and granting them green cards would perpetuate the downward pressure on US tech worker salaries. This will help boost corporate profits, but corporate profits are not easily taxed for fear of hindering business growth.
The majority of the US government's tax revenue comes from the middle class, and with the continued downward pressure on US tech workers' salaries, the US government's tax base will continue to shrink, adding to budget pressures and making it impossible to balance the budget.
Additionally, Indian immigrants often come to the US to lead and support the offshoring of technology work to India, and if they all get permanent residency status, this offshoring trend will become more entrenched in corporate America.

Please go register for the Republican primaries and vote out the treacherous globalist cucks who passed HR1044 in the house of representatives and the senators that support S386. If they are defeated in the primaries, and with a true Republican congress (no RINOs), the US tech worker (especially the white male US tech worker) will be able to breathe easier.
