Last week I saw an eastern kingbird for the first time. Yesterday I saw one for the second time!!! I love seeing new things on a nature walk.
Today’s glamor shot on the nature. I was happy that I was able to name the bird (nuthatch) and it turns out it’s a brown-headed nuthatch.

I go on a lot of nature walks and the middle schoolers named this little katydid Jonathan. I don’t know why but they did.
