Anyone who sells on eBay, a word of warning to you--if a buyer purchases an item from you and it gets lost in the mail, eBay will hold YOU responsible and force you to refund the buyer 100% of the purchase amount even if the package is not insured. This happened to me very recently, and when I contacted "customer service" and pointed out that I had provided tracking information proving that I had shipped the item, as well as the fact that the buyer did not request insurance for it, they responded that I could not dispute the forced refund unless there was proof of delivery provided. Since when is it the seller's responsibility to make sure the mail carrier completes delivery?! I responded to the rep that their resolution was unacceptable and that I wanted to escalate the dispute to management, and the rep said I couldn't escalate unless there was proof of delivery. So, they decided they were going to outright steal from me and give me zero options to combat it.
eBay is nothing more than a disgusting corrupted wretch of a company now, and I'm so done with it. Anyone else who still sells on there, I recommend ceasing to do business with these crooks before they burn you too, or requiring every single thing you sell to have insurance on it for the item's full value.
They'll be one of the big companies to crash and burn in the LORD's great reset, which has only just begun. Good riddance.
