A RAINBOW ..... !
Wow! What a beautiful sight!
Jews! Christians!
There are so many things in nature which the Bible utilizes as symbols to demonstrate its message. They help us to reflect on its message in our day-to-day work and activities.
Things such as trees, grass, farmers, various animals ..... FAMILIES ..... (FATHERS, MOTHERS and CHILDREN!) .... clouds, sun, stars ..... and the RAINBOW!
Do you remember what God said to Noah as recorded in Genesis chapter 9, about the time after the global flood? A careful read shows that the author intended it to be read as authentic history. And the rock strata back up its historical accuracy one hundredfold.
Don't be shy of it! Don't let it be taken from you!
May God help me .....
"Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.”
When you see a RAINBOW remember the thing it truly symbolizes! It symbolizes God's blessing after His judgement on a godless world - a judgement which is paralleled in some ways with the judgement it says is yet to come, following which God's blessing will yet be poured out again, when "the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed" (Daniel ch 2).
Don't let a godless world steal the message of the RAINBOW from you!
I repeat ..... may God help me!
I am an "old fashion" Christadelphian believer and a passionate beekeeper.
Please find me on Facebook. Together with my brother Paul, I have been working for a number of years building our beekeeping business. We manage over a thousand hives, which is generally considered a medium sized operation by South Australian standards. We derive most of our turnover from bulk honey production. When it comes to managing an apiary business, it is the bee husbandry part which particularly captures my interest. In our opinion, the keynote to commercial success in the beekeeping industry is contained in the old adage, "If you look after your bees, they will look after you." We believe in maintaining dialogue with other industry members, and clear communication with land holders who generously make their properties available to us for siting our hives. We provide pollination services for a number of horticultural crops, mainly in the broadacre sector. In this way the farming community in general regards our presence as mutually beneficial. This relationship is of high importance to us because without it we could not financially survive.
