I was born and raised in the middle of this country: Kansas City, Kansas. I graduated from Wyandotte High School, class of '63 and Kansas University with Bachelor of Ed. degree, and Mid America University with Master of Education degree. I taught school in KCK for 32 years and retired in 2000. I love animals, especially dogs and have two Yorkies, Tina and Tilly. I have been married to Johnny Plesa for 37 years.
