A small waterfall, Greylock Glen where I hike daily. "Greylock Glen" sounds like a place in Lord of the Rings. In the glen there are scores of such, and trails, and abundant wildlife and birds. One of the very few good things about MA is that there is a lot of public property, state forests, parks, reservations, especially in the Berkshires. The State, in it's infinite wisdom, was going to "develop" this place a few years back, build a golf course and a casino. Nothing says The Berkshires and Nature like a golf course and casino. There was fierce local opposition and some acts of sabotage, pulling up survey stakes, that sort of thing. So The State dropped the idea. But they will be back to try again
