At 1 pm on Thursday December 10, Ponderay Police Department will be escorting the remains of Ponderay Police Sergeant Mike Victorino through the route listed below. This is a 1st Responder vehicle procession to honor Mike Victorino's 26 year career as a law enforcement officer in our community. We would like to encourage the public to join us by lining the streets along the route to pay final respects. We would invite all of you who attend to take video and share it with the Ponderay Police Department. We would ask everyone to please respect the wishes of the family and the Ponderay Police Department as the procession itself is first responder vehicles only and would encourage as many as possible to line the sides of the roads in Mike's honor. The procession will stage in Sagle off Monarch Rd and begin promptly at 1 pm. It will travel North on Hwy 95 exit in Sandpoint, north on 1st Ave, west on Cedar St. North on 5th Ave onto Hwy 200, east on 4th St in Ponderay, north on Elm Ave, cross Hwy 200 continuing west onto Kootenai Cutoff, cross Hwy 95 and west onto Schweizer Cutoff, south onto N. Boyer Ave and into the BCSO parking lot. Units will break off at this point and Ponderay units will escort 4004 to the Ponderay Police Department.
