THE LIES THE MODERN CHURCH HAS EMBRACED.....
It’s stories and verses like these that have lost their meaning over the 2000 years since the Cross. It’s also stories and verses like these that have destroyed the church. Not understanding the context of the encounter with the harlot many people believe that Jesus ushered in a more forgiving, more liberal, more loving world. NOT SO……….
Most church people today believe that we are not to judge nor hold one another accountable for sin. For hundreds of years the Catholics in Europe could buy their way out of sin with money or simply with confession and a series of “Hail Mary’s.” But we are just as bad or worse. We think Grace covers all our sins carte blanche. And a few New Testament Bible verses seem to confirm that, including the verses below.
The church has destroyed itself by choosing the easy path at every fork in the road and there have been hundreds if not thousands of major forks that the church has taken since Jesus walked the earth. YOU know in your own heart that I am telling the Truth. You know that modern church ideology is nothing less than a legalistic process that allows us to live as we desire and yet pretend to be in God’s will. The modern Western church is so far from God as to be in a clear and present state of blasphemy. Europe is dead and we are next………….joel
