Hello all. I'm the owner of Red's Delivery Services, a Florida-based personal shopping and delivery service. Working on expansion state-wide and into Georgia. We can deliver from more merchants and to larger overall areas then the "gig apps" services, as we work for the customer, not through contracts. We're also trying to build a nation-wide network of other delivery services (mainly last-mile/courier but including any service in the industry all the way up to freight transport) to keep customers covered wherever they go in the country.
We have a new app/platform being built to help us function more smoothly, as the current platform we utilize is limited in it's capabilities, and extremely limiting as far as expanding into new areas. Though when I first started the business, I was more concerned with getting it going and didn't really consider the possibility of expansion. But expansion became an option as many of our customers are "snowbirds" and looking to use us "back home" too. Trying to keep them covered is what initially got us in contact with our developer to build our own platform as well as grow a network of other services. A network that would benefit all network members as well as the customers of all members.
