Red's Delivery Services Update
New delivery Schedule:
Sun-Thurs: 5pm-8pm Fri-Sat: 7am-10pm
I'm NOT shutting down. I just don't have the funds to advertise the way the bigger guys can, and I can't compete with their prices. When business picks up again, I will hire drivers to work the days I'll be at my job, and return delivery availability to a full-time schedule.
I will be launching the new app later this year, most likely around the time I hire additional drivers.
That being said, I am compiling a wait-list of drivers in Jax, St. Augustine, and here in Putnam County for when the new app does finally launch and/or local business picks up. If anyone from these areas would be interested in joining my team down the road, send me an email to Red(at)RedConrad.com. I'd also consider bringing someone on as a partner if they're willing to help the business grow and learn the industry. All candidates for driver or partner MUST reside in either Putnam County, Jax, or St. Augustine. [Driver pay is commission on a per order basis, paid weekly (paid daily if you have Cash App, my payroll provider works with Cash App for daily payouts)]
This jackass is arguing with me and few other veterans in my industry (on Twitter) trying to suggest we're being exploited and trying to convince us our years of experience, running numbers, etc is wrong. That his white-collar desk-jockey ass knows more about our line of work then we do. Even called into question our earnings. Like, you want screenshots you **** idiot? Particularly the one guy he's talking down to, probably the most successful of us in the conversation; that dude's tax returns will definitely prove this union piece of **** has no idea wtf he's talking about.
But keep on telling me how much unions are there to help us. This guy is high up in a union, and NOT listening to well-known names in the industry, let alone me who contracts for companies along with running my own biz in the industry. This convo is only proving one thing: unions do NOT give a **** what the people want, the unions only care what the unions want. Once upon a time unions may have had a purpose, but that purpose has come and gone, and it's about time the unions go too.
