Polish capital was suffering from a spate of rapes by foreign drivers
Poland -Earlier this month, the respected Polish daily Rzeczpospolita reported that the Polish capital was suffering from a spate of rapes by foreign drivers from the Uber and Bolt taxi networks. Citing official data, Rzeczpospolita informed that the Warsaw Police and Prosecutor's Office are currently conducting 20 investigations into 11 reported and confirmed cases of sexual violence in the last weeks of 2021 and into 9 cases that occurred this year. Of these 20 confirmed assaults (including 12 rapes and one attempted rape), the alleged perpetrators are all immigrant men. These are six Georgians, two Uzbeks, two Tajiks, one Algerian and one Turkmen. The nationalities of the other eight rapists or sexual assaulters have not yet been determined, meaning they are not local either. Their victims are Polish women
