You have been involved in church for years and you were fairly contented until recently. Lately, there seems to a void in your life and you feel so empty when you leave church. You have wondered what is wrong. You ask yourself," Is it the church not meeting my needs or is something wrong with me?" What you are feeling is the wooing of the Holy Spirit into a deeper, more intimate relationship with the Lord. Christian busyness will never fill the void in your heart. Until now you did not know that you did not know.Your relationship with the Lord has been so shallow. The emptiness you feel is a God-given hunger to draw nearer unto the Lord. The wilderness was to test hearts and create hunger and thirst for the Lord. This is the Lord's word to you today, " For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from captivity... Jeremiah 29:11-14a It is time to seek the Lord. He has so much more He wants to do in and through you. Press into Him and yield yourself unto Him and you will find a reality in Him that you have not known was possible.His kingdom is righteousness, peace, and the joy in the Holy Spirit. Reward awaits for diligent seekers.
