If Iran wanted to overwhelm Israels missile defense, they could have done so. They wanted to establish a precedent, to be able to declare war on Israel, to be able to fire missiles at Israel, whenever they desired. To be able to destroy Israeli associated ships in the strait of hormuz, and worldwide, according to permissible muslim rules of war, per the western left. To be able to attack Israeli agents in the middle east directly, and everyone associated with Israel, because Iran is at war with Israel. In G-d I trust.
