Made a trellis out of an old bicycle rim, and some reclaimed fence slates, so I can plant some banana beans next to some corn I planted last week.
The trellis is 4 pieces of 6 foot fence slates, 1 700c bicycle rim attached 36" from the bottom of the fence slates, a scrap piece of 2"x4", 4 bolts to hold the rim to the fence slates and some deck screws to attach the 2"x4" at the top of the fence slates.
I have to get some string to attach to my trellis and after I sow my seeds I will attach the string to the trellis for the beans to grow up the trellis.
(Sometimes in gardening, like in life... you just have to get creative with what supplies you have handy at the time.)

Note: I did like the construction of this trellis, it is sturdy.
So I may see if I can find some old bent wheels at the bicycle co-op or locally and use them to make a few more trellis' for some other veggies I plan on planting in a few weeks.
I put those removable frames around my corn I planted so I don't mow the corn over until the corn stalks grow and are recognizable.
