I watched this video last night and found it very interesting. Dion (of Dion and the Belmonts) relates the story of the Winter Dance Tour, which he made with Buddy Holly, J.P. Richardson, and Ritchie Valens, and the tragic plane crash which killed all three and the pilot. I think it is a worthwhile watch.
