“We had a preacher over here and he preached his last sermon just a few weeks back. He preached a real sermon over there one Sunday on Divine Healing. Well, it surprised me. I hadn't heard a Methodist preach on Divine Healing in forty years, maybe longer, but he did. I said “Brother Grant, you sure surprised me.”
Well, he said, “I cant help it brother. Ill preach it as long as I preach. My mother was healed and I know He can do it. Ill preach it as long as I preach.”
I told him, “Glory to God for You!”
He said, “Ill preach it as long as I preach and if they dont like it, Ill quit.”
Thats the kind of man I like to hear. Stand up for Gods Word.
Denomination doesn't make one bit of difference in the world to me. If a church is working for the Lord, I'm for them. I don't care what they call themselves. Baptists, Methodists, Church of God, or what, I’ll be there just the same as anyone else. I’ll help them all I can because we are all looking to go to the same spot. This here denomination stuff just wont work.
I wish people would go back to the old Bible. We’d have a lot better country. There wouldn't be any friction between churches.
The Bible says “My Spirit will not always strive with man” and its not. Its getting away from us. Whats doing it? They’re not preaching the Word right. They are not born again. They are making a career out of preaching now. Thats why it is.
