The LORD
... has made us,
and not we ourselves.
Know that the LORD, He is God;
It is He who has made us,
and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Psalm 100 v. 3
In Genesis 1:28
we read that God commanded man
to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth
and have dominion over all the living creatures.
But God was still boss
He created us.
The created thing does not boss the Creator.
He is to acknowledge, thank, praise and serve Him.
