I did post this message to a permaDST group on Facebook. It is being reviewed and it might not be published because of controversial comments. Here is the post
"If permaDST is passed I would rather have schools start an hour later which would really be the same time as it would start under standard time. Sure there would be opposition to a later start because if the school day length were the same there would be an hour less of daylight after school during the historic DST period. But, I would favor cutting the school day by one hour and eliminate pushing indoctrination of unproven dogma such as evolution and critical race theory. There'd still be plenty of time to teach important subjects."
