Lina Hidalgo, age 28, Progressive Democrat was Elected County Judge (Executive not Judicial) Of Harris County, Texas in 2018. Lina Hidalgo was born in the South American Country of Columbia. Her Family moved to Houston, Texas. She Graduated High School in Katy, and attended  Stanford University receiving a Bachelor's Degree and a Joint Degree in Law and Public Policy from New York University and Harvard. Hidalgo's career experience includes working at Texas Civil Right's Project, coordinating with Advocacy Groups to push for Criminal Justice Reform, and working in Southeast Asia to promote Transparency and Accountability. Lina Hidalgo Presides over Harris County, The Largest County in Texas she oversees Payroll for18,000 plus employees and a Budget of more than 5Billion Dollars!  She will also Lead the County's Office of Emergency Management!     Lina decides 15 months before the 2018 Election to leave Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts and move to Harris County and Run for County Judge against Ed Emmitt, Republican County Judge, Harris, County, Texas!   Lina Hidalgo receives U.S. Citizenship after leaving Stanford!!!
