Read this once, pause for a minute or two to think honestly about it, then read it again. The views this mother has about Donald Trump are much like many other people. Her characterization of Trump as the "Salty Sailor" or as “The Firefighter” paints an excellent picture!! She has written books about her son and family. This is a Comment from KAREN VAUGHN, the mother of Aaron Vaughn, a Navy Seal.
Then read her book, World Changer: A Mother's Story.

Sometimes God uses the no-nonsense, salty sailor to get the job done. Appreciating what the man is doing doesn't mean we worship the salty sailor or even desire to be like the salty sailor. It doesn't even mean God admires the salty sailor. Maybe He just knows he's necessary for such a time as this.
I believe with all my heart that God placed that salty sailor in the White House to give this nation one more chance in November 2016. Donald Trump is what he is – and he is still the man he was before the election – and without guilt. I very much admire what that salty sailor is accomplishing. He's not like me. That's okay with me. I don't want to be like him. I will never behave like him. I know we've NEVER had a man like him lead our nation before. It's crazy and a little mind-blowing at times. But I can't help admire the stamina and ability he has – acting with his heart rather than a calculated, PC, think tank-screened, carefully edited script. I still believe that is WHY he became our President and WHY he's been able to handle a landslide of adversity and STILL pass unprecedented amounts of good legislation for our country AND do great works for MANY other nations, including Israel.
I'm THRILLED with what he's doing for my nation, for the cause of Christ (whether intentional or unintentional, doesn't matter to me), and for the concept of rebuilding America and putting her FIRST. I will not be ashamed of my position because others don't see him through the same lens.
Should it matter to me if a firefighter drops an f-bomb while he's pulling me from a burning building? Would I really care about what came out of his mouth in those moments? Heck no! I'd CARE about what he was DOING. He wasn't sent there to save my soul, and I'm not looking to him for spiritual guidance. All I'm thinking in those moments is, "Thank you, GOD, for sending the fireman.” AND DONALD TRUMP IS OUR FIREMAN.

I'll soon post this article again for those who still might not understand me. This man is crass. Okay. He's not careful with what he says. Okay. You feel offended that he's not a typical statesman. Okay. But he is DOING THE JOB of rebuilding the nation my son died for... the nation I feared was on a fast track to becoming a hopeless cause.

A long post from me folks; please read. My intent was to just share Karen Vaughn's point of view...but it caused many things to fill my head and heart.
You know...we just need to talk! ?

Much truth in what she's saying in the last post I shared, and may God bless her, our country, and its leaders!

The Orange Man needs our prayers; even if you don't like him...all we can muster!

Pray for peace. Corny, maybe; but what I see going on now breaks my heart.

Just like what I seen in the 60's and 70's broke my heart...many of my friends here are a product of that generation. Born in the 50's, and I remember the "whites only" water fountain, and the "whites only" public bathroom outside the courthouse in Maysville...my home town!

We had moved to Arizona when I was 4...come back here every summer. When I first remember seeing those signs, and the segregated area on the city bus, I didn't understand why. I had never seen anything like that in Arizona. I was seeing what was playing out in the news every evening, but, seeing that...
it shocked me...that is when it all became real to me!

We moved back here permanently the summer after I had finished the 5th grade...those signs were still there; but were gone within a year, or so after that...'67-'68.

People...friends...we are better than that now!

Our generation; we grew out of that!

Those of us that went to the small schools in the area, then High School at Mason County seen all that was going on in the country; but we were better than that...we all respected each other...didn't we?!!!

What is going on now is bad; it's very bad. But, it is manufactured artificially. It is not like it was back then...we are not like that, and we, our generation, never have been!

Did I know people who were bigots during my life...yes, and if they ever said anything racist in my presence, I let them know that didn't appreciate it, and at times I gave them a boisterous piece of my mind!

These agitators now, are trying to pit the races against one another. They want to tear down all the progress we've made!

You are not my enemy! You all are my brothers and sisters!

We are individuals...it is good for individuals to be a community, but It is not good to separate into ethnic tribes!

The powers that be are doing all they can to have us blame each other for what ever we may lack in life.

Am I really your enemy because I have a different skin color?

Don't let them push you there...we are better minded than that!

Smile when you see each other; greet one another...be mindful of each other's feelings. Be cheerful.

If we step out into the world each day, being mindful of these things...

Each one of us needs to have that mindset. We must truly be in this together!

We are all formed by the Hand of GOD, whether you acknowledge that or not...we are to be imitators of HIM.

Love one another! We're even supposed to love our enemies!

When evil rises up, we should strike it down, and not tolerate it in our communities!

You know, when it comes down to us regular folks, it really is not a group, or even a race problem...It is an individual problem; one of the Heart!

I hope that my friends, both from the past, and the present, haven't been persuaded by others, or the media to despise me because of my skin color.

Ha...because of a autoimmune disease that I have, Vitiligo, where you lose the pigment in your skin...I'm extra white now! ?

Let us be good to one another...or at least find it in your heart to be civil.

Don't accept others negative attitude. Don't allow them to speak evil in your sphere.

If you insist those around not spew negativity, you will find that over time it goes away completely!

I believe that you will find that new heart of yours will effect all around you. Then all your days will be brighter!
